BackpackingYour experience starts now.  We provide a welcoming experience from the moment you start speaking with us to the time you share your photos from your visit.  And, we are committed to your personal health & safety and invite you to review our Coronavirus & Healthy Safety Environment Strategy.

We love living in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and want others to experience it. From guiding fishing trips since 2008, we found that most of our customers return, often rebooking  on the spot with our wilderness guide.  They return because of the personal, high integrity experience. They get what they pay for and the BWCA is a beautiful place to visit.

Wilderness Guide (Dean Bushey):
I have been on my own, guiding customers in the BWCA of northern MN and the Canadian border since 2007. Prior to guiding on my own I solo guided numerous trips for several Ely area outfitters.  Having grown up and lived on a lake my entire life, I have a passion for fishing, camping, hunting and all that comes with the joy of living in the great Northwoods.   This passion is simply extended to Log Cabin Hideaways!

Customer Experience and Host (Cecilia Quattromani): I have 25 plus years in corporate America focusing on the customer experience. Originally from the east coast (and an Army brat), I always dreamed of owning my own B & B. This is better. It’s not ‘white glove treatment;” rather I’m letting Mother Nature do most of the work!

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
